• Dr. Emily Rothwell, former postdoc, now
  Research Assistant Professor, Pittsburgh University. Emily’s work focused on assessing age-related changes in cognitive function and other behaviors as well as neuropathology in a model of human aging and neurodegenerative disease.

• Mélise Edwards, PhD student. Mélise's research focused on the role of estrogens in age-related cognitive decline and associated neuropathology in a primate model of menopause. She is now perfoming cell culture work in Dr. Courtney Babbitt’s lab. Mélise is the founder of MUSE, a mentorship program offering representative mentorship to severely underrepresented STEM enthusiasts. She has a B.S. in Biology/Ecology and has worked with over 13 different species including (but not limited to) rhesus and pigtailed macaques, big cats, snakes, birds, turtles, flying squirrels, hellbenders, odonates and farm animals.
